He tells me, “There is a monster under my bed.” I crawl down, my face against the floor my terrified brother tells me, “There is a monster on top of my bed.”

My Friends Dorm

I just moved into my friend's dorm, I see someone standing in the kitchen. My phone dings, my friend’s text reads, “I’ll be home late, btw make sure the door is locked”

New Employees

“We just got new mannequins in bubble wrap for the new clothes. "My boss mentioned as he left for the weekend. As I go to the backroom to close the store, I begin to hear popping.

Midnight Cries 

“Last night I kept on hearing someone crying” I told my wife “That was me.” She murmured. I let out a sigh of relief and as I was about to speak she told me “I was crying because I saw… a thing watching you sleep.”

For them, Swedish fish is a popular choice. Many people enjoy chocolate bars and sweet or sour candies, but my favorite is spicy because it has a kick. Data indicates that the most popular choice is a Reese's peanut butter cup, suggesting that chocolate is the world's favorite candy. However, what about those who can't eat nuts? For them, Swedish fish are a popular choice. Why do people like candy? People like candy because it is delicious, sweet, and good to eat. That is why it is the most-liked snack in the world.

The Hollywood Halloween Hangout

After a long week, ASB hosted their first hangout of the 2024-2025 school year on Friday October 25th, 2024. The “Hollywood Halloween Hangout” consisted of an immense spine-chilling maze with immersive attractions meant to frighten all who enter. Bemused by the eerie masks hanging on the encircling walls, one wouldn’t notice whenever a sorrowful shadow appeared from behind. The iconic Halloween horror movie star Michael Myers made an appearance towards the last turn of the maze followed up by another horror film character, Jigsaw who was riding a tricycle. Both performers would make one hassle out of the maze, where there was a disquieting sign at the exit leaving one with the question, “What is your favorite horror movie?” 

The hangout not only included an alarming maze but incorporated diverse table games, face painting, showy temporary tattoos, a 360 orbital booth, live music, and food students could buy during the event. Such as delectable tacos, aguas frescas, and ice cream sandwiches. Students could compete in games to win tickets that would be redeemable for prizes which were stickers, toy figures, and bribing an ASB member to jail someone at the event. While students participated in these activities, Lactose, a punk rock band formed by students who persistently performed their last show. One member of the band, Judhi Sosa was highly recognized as she wore a notable shrimp costume while playing bass. Afterwards, Los Morros de East LA concluded the night with Latin music in which many engaged in by dancing along. Thereafter a night of dancing and coming together with peers the first hangout of the year came to an end.
